Single Room Rate

Due to popular demand we have decided to create a single room rate for our twin rooms for individuals who would like to stay at Magnolia Place.

For R300.00 per night during the week you get all the benefits of staying at Magnolia Place as a single person, pending availability.

You can also book a room for two people at R400.00 or add another guest to your room for R100.00.

All rooms include wi-fi access, desk, TV, fridge, micro-wave, kettle and a self-service breakfast with cereals, rusks, coffee/tea and juice.

Secure parking and a private entrance contributes to a comfortable stay at an affordable price.

Three Stars Awarded

Star Grading for Magnolia Place

Magnolia Place has been awarded a 3-star rating in March 2010 by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

Magnolia Place opened in December 2008 and in just over one year has become a popular destination for people looking for affordable quality accommodation in Stellenbosch.

The staff and management are proud to have achieved the three star award and look forward to continue providing an affordable quality experience.

Apartment

Magnolia Place has added a one bedroom apartment to its portfolio of affordable self-catering accommodation.

The apartment features a double bed in a private room with an open plan lounge, dining table and kitchen.
The patio in front of the living room opens onto a public area. The bathroom has an extra large shower.

Two sleeper couches in the living room allows parties of up to four people to be accommodated.

As with all Magnolia Place accommodation a self help breakfast is included in the rate.

Wi-fi, televison and a desk is available

Simply select the one bedroom appartment in the reservation system to book.

Magnolia Grandiflora Flower

January 2010

It is the time of year for the Magnolia Grandiflora to delight onlookers with a large white flower. Getting closer a very strong citrus smell eminates from one of the kings of flowers. The local tree has so far produced four flowers this year.

A large Magnolia tree at the top of Dorp street provides a fantastic display of what the tree can produce when fully grown.

Service Upgrade – Breakfast Selection

We are delighted to announce that from 6 June 2009, a light breakfast consisting of tea/coffee and a selection of cereals are available for all Self Catering guests and is included in the room rate.

In addition we have negotiated a special breakfast offer with the coffee shop just around the corner from 7:00 onwards.
